Frank J. Gordon

Frank has practiced law for over thirty-five years in the state and federal courts of North Carolina and for for over 20 years in the courtrooms of South Carolina. He also routinely appears in court in other states, from Florida to New York. He is a native North Carolinian with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from N.C. State University and a Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law.

Frank began his career as a clerk for a federal district court judge in North Carolina and has since focused his law practice on the defense of clients in civil jury trials. He has defended a wide variety of actions during his career. He has represented insurance companies, railroads, school boards, community colleges, paper mills, elevator companies, trucking companies, carpet manufacturers, small business owners, and individuals.
 
In addition to practicing law, Frank formerly served as an adjunct professor in the Meredith College paralegal program and is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education conferences. Over the years, Frank has been actively involved as a volunteer in his community. He has served on the board of directors of various nonprofit organizations, including the Wake County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, the Women's Center of Wake County, and AnimalKind. He has played in rock bands for 40 years, renovated half a dozen houses, rescued hundreds of dogs and cats, and read thousands of books. He lives in Raleigh with his fabulous wife Viriginia and their dog pack.
