Drew was born and raised in Wheelersburg, Ohio, a small town in the rural southeastern part of the state. In 2008, he left Ohio for Elon University, where he was a two-time captain of the men’s basketball team and an Academic All American. In 2012, Drew graduated cum laude from Elon with a B.A. in Political Science. He then attended law school at Campbell University, graduating cum laude in 2016. After graduation, Drew joined the firm.

Drew has represented clients in state and federal courts in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. He has tried serious cases to a jury, argued dispositive motions, helped clients favorably resolve their disputes out of court, and advised clients to help them avoid potential future problems.

While Drew has represented both individuals and corporations, he has primarily represented railroads, trucking companies, construction clients, and other corporations. He has litigated actions for negligence, wrongful death, toxic tort, breach of contract, lien enforcement, performance and payment bond claims, and a variety of other types of civil litigation, including cases brought under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act.

In addition to his litigation practice, Drew also serves as general counsel for a number of corporate clients. In this capacity, Drew assists businesses, large and small, with various legal matters, including matters of corporate law; contract negotiation and formation; and employment, insurance, and real estate issues.

Drew is married and resides with his wife Gabi and their daughter Sofia in Raleigh. When he is not practicing law, he enjoys basketball, golf, reading, traveling, and playing with his labradoodle, Rudy.
